C-K Rotary is the International Partner for the expansion of the Mengo Hospital Rotary Blood Bank in Kampala.

Our Ugandan friends will update us on the project, and speak about Rotary's involvement in healthcare in Uganda in general.

This celebrates a migratory bird’s spectacular migration between winter and summer grounds. Bird Day was created in 1993 to focus attention on the need to conserve birds and their habitats. The fall event will be celebrated on October 11.  Each year, there is an official theme. This year the focus is on creating bird-friendly cities and communities.

As a leader in sharing such expertise in low- and middle-income countries, he will speak of his collaboration with Kenyan colleagues to establish a Master of Science program in Medical Physics.

Monthly evening social, in lieu of regular morning meeting. We gather at a variety of venues andenjoy conversation during cocktail hour followed by dinner. There is a bit of Rotary business but it's mostly to encourage fellowship and conversation. Guests are always welcome. Those attending need to respond to the invitation with choice of meal for them and their guests.
