Kingston Area Shared Seniors Alternative Living
Nov 12, 2019 7:00 AM
Some Kingston area seniors chose to live together and others for their mutual health and independence, financial security and for the health and future of the world. They have been in their 'new' home for over two months now and have just welcomed one more person into the fold. They have two more bedrooms to fill. This 'sharing' approach of living meets the goals set to combat climate change, costs about $600.00 per month for the house (well below the definition of 'affordable housing') and is a fun and healthy way to live. Come and hear their stories as they seek to promote a new way of living for seniors.
