BKIN makes the Kinarm, a tool that can be used in neurological research to help poeple recovering from stroke, neurological disease, or traumatic brain injury. Join us as Todd and guests launch the annual Easter Seals campaign to our Club.

Rotary has a long association with Easter Seals;

"The formation of Easter Seals Ontario can be traced back to November 28, 1922, when 10 representatives from seven Rotary Clubs (Hamilton, Windsor, Kitchener, Chatham, Toronto, Stratford and London) met in Windsor, Ontario to discuss the inadequate resources and support available for the province’s children with physical disabilities."

Join us this morning as students from Holy Cross Secondary School report on their service trip in February. The students visited an orphanage, helped build homes, and other activities.

C-K Rotary International and Youth Service Committees supported the students on their trip.

This fund has been established to help Sudanese refugee students in Nairobi, Kenya with scholarships, mostly for secondary school.

This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the charter of the Rotary Club of Cataraqui-Kingston, and the 10th Anniversary of the charter of the Kingston Waterfront Rotary Club.

Courtney is the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) Recruiter for the Limestone Board of Education. The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program is a specialized program in high school that allows you to explore apprenticeship and consider careers in the skilled trades, generally starting in Grade 11 or Grade 12 through the cooperative education program. Courtney works with schools and employers to attract more young people into considering a career in the skilled trades.
