The project received District Designated Fund grants for $7,481.35. Our Club received $1833, only a portion of what our club put in. All this money will go back in to Food Sharing Project, now continuing. Our role was providing for food from the end of school year until September. The Food Sharing Project and Isthmus are continuing their collaboration, beginning October 12th, Rotarians will resume phoning families, pack boxes of food, and deliver them. The committee is meeting to discuss ongoing fund-raising. If interested in packing or delivering, please contact Paul Elsley.
Membership Committee meets this week, Wednesday 6:30 p.m.

A summary of fines for September was sent out. Please send your money to Rick. Ana has past month records in case you need them. This is our only way of raising funds for our operations.

Auction Discussion
Murray Cotton: Sponsors. We can still solicit. Please let Murray know of details. Still waiting for a couple of annual ones. A tough year for sponsors.
John Farrow: Now 212 gifts up on site (as of morning October 6); 15 or 16 more to post. Would like bulk of items in by October 31st. Keep bringing them in as you get them. Last minute gifts can come in up to one week before. Please check details of all items you’ve brought in. Each gets proofread by John and by Elizabeth, but please double-check. Also, make sure all the items you’ve procured are actually posted. Still have copies of sponsor and donor sheets, and boxes of business cards. If you can’t pick them up, John will deliver.
Greg Mumford:
- Lots of room for more $500 sponsorships. If you need electronic versions of donor information, please ask Greg.
- There isn’t need to go in to businesses with COVID-19. Telephone and email are being well received.
- 200 posters 8 1/2 x 11 will be available soon. Doug is progressing well on media promotion. If you can help with this, please contact Doug. Promotion is very important.
- Cindy at Royal Rugs has invited us to use her display window for art items in our auction, including their rug donation. Would like description and poster all ready to go with art donations. Could someone please take this on.
- CKWS promotion: Greg will be doing shots through Skype promoting auction and Centennial. Need re-imagining what the CKWS slots would be the week before the auction. Please help with this. One will feature FAR.
- Right now: sponsorships and donations are key. Our estimate now is $19,000 so far. The money is there; we’re only limited by our ability to call on businesses. Not getting many “no”’s. If you need any other support, let Greg know. One new business—Sean and Greg both approached—gave through both of them!
