Call for Grant Proposals--Fall 2018

Background

The Rotary Club of Cataraqui-Kingston was chartered in 1985 and has over 30 members. The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. We also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, young professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self.”

Call for Grant Proposals: Fall 2018

The Rotary Club of Cataraqui-Kingston is inviting submissions for grants to fund local (Kingston) “one-off” innovative community service projects. We will accept by email only proposals that are aligned with the Rotary International six areas of focus (see Our Causes on the Rotary International Web site) and that address needs within the greater Kingston community.

These priorities are:

  • Promoting peace
  • Fighting disease
  • Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
  • Saving mothers and children
  • Supporting education
  • Growing local economies

We do not provide funding for operational budgets, and ask that you only submit a proposal if requesting funds for a specific project you are currently working on, or looking to start.
