We are gathered on traditional Anishinaabe (An-ish(-in)-ah'-bay), Haudenosaunee (ho-den-o-sho'-nee) and Huron-Wendat Territory. We recognize these nations for their care and stewardship over these lands. We are grateful to be able to join together in Rotary Fellowship to learn, share knowledge, and live on these lands. Bread has been one of the staples of life throughout history and is seen in its many forms in all cultures. The breaking and sharing of bread is symbolic of life, peace, and the building of friendships.
