Michelle introduced this morning's speaker Julie Salter-Keane, who has represented the City of Kingston on the board of Sustainable Kingston. Julie has served the city in many capacities relating to climate action.
Part of Kingston's strategic Plan includes Climate Action
The City has created ambitious climate action goals;
Buildings are of course a huge contributor to GHG. The city has several initiatives, including the exciting Better Homes Kingston, to be launched soon;
Transportation initiatives are also important;
The Kingston Community Climate Action Fund accepts donations to help local charities with initiatives;
