Local Grants

The club’s largest grant program supports non-profit organizations, charities, and schools in the greater Kingston area. Grants are awarded twice a year for innovative, project-based initiatives that align with Rotary’s seven areas of focus, including education, food security, health, environmental protection, peacebuilding, and economic development. These are small grants which range from $500 to $2,500. which help local charities do their work. The club also offers Mini-Grants of $500 for new community initiatives and school-based service projects. 

National Grants

Across Canada, the club supports projects through Rotary District 7040 and The Rotary Foundation, often partnering with other Rotary clubs. These grants help fund Canadian initiatives such as Indigenous reconciliation, youth leadership programs, disaster relief, peacebuilding, scholarships, and projects that strengthen communities across the country. 

International Grants

Internationally, the club works with The Rotary Foundation and Rotary clubs around the world to fund sustainable humanitarian projects. These include providing clean water and sanitation, disease prevention, maternal and child health, education and literacy, economic development, peacebuilding, and environmental protection. A recent example is C-K Rotary Joining with Ugandan Clubs in a Major Expansion of the Mengo Hospital Blood Bank. The club also contributes to Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign and supports international scholarships and youth exchanges.
