13. Organization of Activities of the Club
Section 1 — The club’s activities are organized through the following areas of endeavour:
- Four service interests: Local Community, Regional and National Community, International Community, New Generations/Youth;
- Communications: internal with our membership, external to our communities;
- Membership;
- Club administration including organization of meetings and special events;
- Fundraising;
- Contributions to The Rotary Foundation and appointment of Paul Harris Fellows.
* Section 2 — The club shall have committees with responsibility for:
- Club Administration
- Membership
- Public Image
- Rotary Foundation
- Service Projects
Section 3 — The Board may appoint committees, teams, task forces, and other working groups or coordinators as required to manage club activities and shall define their responsibilities and authority.
Section 4 — Decisions will be made by simple majority vote unless the Act or these bylaws require a special resolution. If a person not present for a decision submits a vote in writing on a matter requiring a decision, then that person shall be considered as present for the purpose of determining quorum for that matter, and their vote shall be duly counted.
