Section 1 — A member of this club or another club proposes a candidate for membership to the Membership Committee.

Section 2 — The Membership Committee works with the candidate to prepare for membership. When the candidate is deemed ready, the Membership Committee recommends the candidate to the board for its approval.

Section 3 — The board reviews the Membership Committee's recommendation and takes its decision on the recommendation.

Section 4 — If board approval has been given, the Membership Committee gives one week notice to the club of the recommendation of the board, provides the club with information about the candidate, and invites members to provide comments and to raise objections, if any.

Section 5 — If no written objection to the proposal, stating reasons, is received by the board from any member of the club within seven days following publication of the name of the prospective member, the prospective member, upon payment of the required fees, shall be considered to be elected to membership.

Section 6 — If any objection has been filed with the board, it shall consider the same at any regular or special meeting of the board and shall ballot on the proposed member. If there are not more than two (2) negative votes cast by the members of the board in attendance at such regular or special meeting, the proposed member, upon payment of the required fees, shall be considered to be elected to membership. 

Section 7 — The Membership Committee notifies the candidate of the board's decision.

Section 8— The prospective member, is then invited to join the club and is inducted at a club meeting.
