1. Community Service Grants
   The club awards grants twice each year to local charities and non-profit organizations. These grants support projects addressing poverty, youth programs, food security, education, environmental protection, and community development.
2. Support for Lunch by George
   The club has supported Lunch by George for more than a decade with funding and hands-on volunteer service. Members help prepare and serve meals, including special holiday dinners, for people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
3. Food Security Initiatives
   Through grants and partnerships, the club supports organizations such as Community Harvest Kingston and other food programs that improve access to healthy food for families in need.
4. Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs
   The club funded the purchase and training of service dogs for people living with autism, PTSD, seizures, mobility challenges, and other disabilities, helping recipients live more independent lives.
5. Environmental Projects
   The club supports conservation initiatives such as the creation of edible native gardens by Queen’s University conservation students, promoting biodiversity, environmental education, and sustainable food sources.
6. Pathways to Education Alumni Program
   Through a Rotary Global Grant, the club helped establish a Facilitator of Alumni Relations position for Pathways to Education Kingston, enabling continued support for students as they move into post-secondary education, apprenticeships, and careers.
7. Support for Easter Seals
   Every year the club raises funds and promotes Easter Seals programs that help children with physical disabilities access mobility equipment, recreation opportunities, and independence.
8. Youth Leadership and Development
   The club sponsors leadership programs, scholarships, youth exchanges, and Rotary youth initiatives that help young people develop leadership, community service, and international understanding.
9. Support for Arts, Education, and Community Organizations
   Through its grant program, the club has funded organizations including H’Art Centre, Sistema Kingston, Junior Achievement, heritage programs, childcare initiatives, and literacy projects, strengthening Kingston’s cultural and educational community.
10. Annual Rotary Community Auction
    The club’s annual community auction is one of its largest fundraising events. The money raised supports dozens of local charities and community projects, allowing the club to invest tens of thousands of dollars back into the Kingston area each year. 

Together, these projects demonstrate the club’s commitment to Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self.” By addressing hunger, supporting vulnerable people, protecting the environment, investing in youth, and strengthening local charities, the Cataraqui-Kingston Rotary Club makes a lasting and measurable difference throughout Kingston and the surrounding region.
