Niki and Adam Ellis create individualized toys for children as a way to help children feel better about themselves. They start with conversations with parents to learn of their children’s interests and then design something just right, perhaps a puzzle, a stuffy, a top, or a yoyo. Some toys are 3D printed and some games are online. They also offer workshops for children to make their own toys for themselves and others. Their goal is to create a group of makers.
Children who might benefit are identified through recommendations. In addition they produce some toys for sale to help defray costs, generate interest, and expand their services.
Be Claus Charity was formed in 2023 and obtained charitable status in 2024. See the Web site to donate or to register as a member of their team of makers.
